As your site and business grows, your Interchange setup can grow as well. We've put together a quick guide on the various stages of growth, and what you can expect us to do with your Interchange setup.

Development and First Stages

As we develop your project, it will be kept on a "dev" site, where we can reach production level without the public, or search engines, seeing the work.

Once you and we are ready to "go live", we move the site to its permanent domain, and host it on one of our commerce servers. Smaller sites share these servers, giving value for money whilst not compromising customer experience.

Dedicated Servers

As order volume increases and your site needs more resources, we move it to a dedicated server. A dedicated box allows a higher volume of visitors to browse your site and use its features.

Clustered Servers

Very successful Interchange sites require complex, "clustered" setups. This is when multiple servers operate together, some serving your website, others your administrative area, and others still your database. We balance the users between the servers, meaning that the optimal customer experience is maintained.
