Webmaint requires a PHP / Perl developer to build exciting web applications using the Interchange development platform. The types of web applications you will be building are varied and include all manner of database driven applications. You will be working on new projects as well continuing to improve and add new features to existing sites for Webmaint's worldwide customer base.

You must be a well-motivated, technically-oriented programmer. You must be keen to develop high quality web applications. You must be comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team.

Ideally you will have an impressive portfolio of previous programming work and websites (please include links to relevant work online as well as references to assist us in verifying the information that you forward to us).

Webmaint is a stable, growing company. This is an excellent full-time permanent position offering good long term prospects. This is an office based position, no teleworkers please. You will be working in our Stockport office (10 mins from Manchester Piccadilly station).

• PHP or Perl skills
• HTML skills

Desirable:

• Experience of working in a Unix/Linux environment
• Unix/Linux system administration skills
• Support and admin of Apache, Sendmail, MySQL, Unix/Linux, NT networks
• Firewall and router support and administration.
