Sam Phillips,
Manager, Web Development
Sam joined Webmaint in June 2005, having graduated with a Masters’ degree. Throughout his school and university career he built up a wealth of professional and voluntary experience on web projects, and he came to Webmaint with an extensive skill set, including PHP, Perl, SQL, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML. He has a particular interest in standards-based design and data creation and structure.
Sam is involved in working with large e-businesses, and specialises in writing API integrations for the Interchange platform, as well as creating usable interfaces and systems.

Personal
As well as enjoying web development, Sam also plays piano and guitar, and sings baritone. He is an avid music fan as well as a specialist in the history of suicide. (We're not kidding!)
